Imua Systems LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our website, communicate with us, use our products or services, or install Imua Delivery Metrics for Atlassian Jira.
1. Who we are
Imua Systems LLC provides delivery-intelligence products and services that help organizations understand delivery friction and improve how work moves through their systems.
In this policy, "Imua Systems," "Imua," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Imua Systems LLC.

2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Website and communications
When you visit our website, contact us, complete a form, schedule a conversation, request support, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive:
- your name;
- business email address;
- company and job title;
- information included in forms, messages, or support requests;
- meeting and scheduling information;
- product or service feedback; and
- basic technical information associated with your visit, such as browser type, device type, referring page, and approximate location derived from an IP address.
Customer and business information
When we work with customers, prospective customers, advisors, suppliers, or other business contacts, we may collect:
- business contact details;
- account and engagement information;
- contracts, invoices, and payment records;
- correspondence and meeting notes;
- product configuration and support information; and
- feedback about our products or services.
Delivery-system information
When you authorize an Imua product or service to analyze a delivery system, we may access operational information needed to provide that service.
Depending on the product and configuration, this may include:
- projects, boards, and delivery periods;
- issue or work-item identifiers;
- issue types and workflow states;
- creation, transition, update, and completion timestamps;
- blocked-work signals;
- priority, rank, or ordering changes;
- sprint or iteration information;
- work entering or leaving a delivery system; and
- related configuration and history needed to calculate delivery metrics.
We design our products to use only the information reasonably necessary for their stated purpose.
3. Clearline
Clearline is an Imua Systems diagnostic service used to identify patterns of delivery friction.
When a customer authorizes a Clearline analysis, Clearline may access delivery-system metadata needed to produce the diagnostic.
Clearline focuses on system-level patterns such as:
- blocked work;
- accumulation of unfinished work;
- changing priorities;
- workflow interruption;
- coordination friction; and
- other delivery-system conditions.
Clearline is not designed to evaluate individual employee performance. Its findings are intended to explain delivery-system conditions and support better decisions.

4. Imua Delivery Metrics for Atlassian Jira
Imua Delivery Metrics is an Atlassian Forge app that calculates and presents delivery-system metrics inside Jira.
Its current metrics include:
- Blocked-Work Drag;
- Flow Pressure; and
- Priority Movement.
Information Imua Delivery Metrics accesses
When installed and authorized by a Jira administrator, Imua Delivery Metrics accesses Jira information needed to calculate and explain its metrics.
This may include:
- Jira projects and boards;
- issues and issue types;
- workflow and status history;
- issue creation and completion dates;
- sprint and iteration information;
- rank or ordering information;
- blocked-work signals;
- movement of work into and out of the selected delivery context; and
- Jira configuration needed to identify the selected project or board.
Imua Delivery Metrics may process issue identifiers and operational metadata associated with Jira issues. Depending on a customer's Jira configuration, Jira content may also contain names, user identifiers, or other information entered by Jira users.
Imua Delivery Metrics is not designed to analyze employee sentiment, source code, passwords, payment-card information, health information, or other sensitive personal information.
How Imua Delivery Metrics uses information
Imua Delivery Metrics uses authorized Jira information to:
- calculate delivery metrics;
- assess the quality and limits of the available evidence;
- explain results to Jira users;
- display supporting evidence;
- maintain the selected analysis context;
- diagnose errors and maintain service reliability; and
- respond to customer support requests.
We do not sell Jira data, use it for advertising, or build advertising profiles.
Authorization and control
Imua Delivery Metrics can access Jira information only after installation and authorization through Atlassian.
Jira administrators control whether the app is installed and can uninstall it through Atlassian's administration tools.
Atlassian independently controls the Jira platform, Atlassian accounts, app installation, and the Forge platform. Atlassian's own privacy terms apply to Atlassian's processing of information.
5. How we use information
We may use information covered by this policy to:
- provide, operate, and improve our products and services;
- perform requested diagnostics and analyses;
- calculate and explain delivery metrics;
- communicate with customers and prospective customers;
- provide support and resolve technical issues;
- maintain security and prevent misuse;
- administer contracts and business relationships;
- comply with legal obligations;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify a person or customer.
We do not sell personal information, customer data, or Jira end-user data.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances.
Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, cloud infrastructure, communications, scheduling, website operation, analytics, error monitoring, customer support, and other business functions.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
At your direction
We may disclose information when a customer or authorized user asks us to do so, or when disclosure is needed to provide a requested integration or service.
Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- protect the rights, safety, and property of Imua Systems, our customers, users, or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
- enforce an agreement.
Business transactions
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
We do not sell customer data or personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide and support our products and services;
- maintain security and service reliability;
- comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
- resolve disputes; and
- enforce agreements.
Retention periods depend on the type of information, the product or service involved, customer instructions, operational requirements, and applicable law.
When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.
Customers may contact us to request deletion where applicable.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include:
- access controls;
- authentication and authorization;
- encryption provided by our hosting and platform providers;
- restricted administrative access;
- logging and monitoring;
- dependency and vulnerability management; and
- incident-response procedures.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Customers are also responsible for maintaining appropriate Jira permissions, account security, and administrative controls.

9. International processing
Imua Systems is based in the United States.
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the nature of our relationship, you may have the right to:
- request access to personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or
- appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
When we process information on behalf of a customer, we may refer your request to that customer. Jira users should ordinarily direct requests concerning information in their organization's Jira site to that organization's Jira administrator or privacy contact.
You may also have the right to complain to an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.
11. Children's privacy
Our products and services are intended for businesses and professional users.
They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies needed to:
- operate the site;
- remember preferences;
- understand site performance; or
- protect against misuse.
Where required by law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.
Third-party services embedded in or linked from our website may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.
13. Third-party services and links
Our websites and products may link to third-party websites or services, including Atlassian.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
